Return & refund policy
The short version: you can cancel before the seller ships and get a full refund. Live plants can't be returned once they've shipped, but if an item arrives damaged or materially not as described, contact the seller right away to arrange a refund.
Before the seller ships
If you've bought an item but it hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel the order from your order page. The full amount — item price plus any shipping — is refunded to your original payment method (card or PayPal). Refunds typically post within a few business days, depending on your bank or PayPal.
After the seller ships — live plants
Live plants, cuttings, and seeds are perishable, so we don't accept returns of them once they've shipped. There's no way to send a living plant back through the mail and have it arrive in saleable condition, and sending one back risks spreading pests or disease.
This is reflected on every listing's product details (return policy: returns not accepted). If that's a concern for a particular item, message the seller with your questions before you bid or buy.
Damaged or not-as-described items
If a plant arrives dead, badly damaged in transit, or is materially different from what the listing described, you have options:
- Message the seller first. Use the messaging link on your order page, ideally with photos. Most sellers want to make it right and will issue a refund or work something out directly.
- If you can't reach a resolution, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer or through PayPal. Their decision is final.
Sellers can issue a full refund from their side at any time, on either payment rail.
Supplies & other goods
Non-living items (pots, tools, soil, décor) follow the same cancel-before-shipment rule. For a return after delivery of a non-living item, contact the seller — return terms for those goods are at the seller's discretion.
